Have a Get Inuit Morning

Heres a great, up and coming band I saw play Ramsgate Music Hall last weekend. I also saw a girl fight that night but unfortunately no footage of that.

Heres ‘My Oh My’ from the dirty surf band Get Inuit.

Have a great week!

Upcoming Event... Casual Sex/Get Inuit/Black Tambourines/Pantomime Villains

On Margate Sounds will be collaborating with Ramsgate Music Hall for a one off indie mesh of some of the best bands on the Kent underground scene right now!

Lets face it, this is a one off opportunity to see Casual Sex, Get Inuit & Black Tambourines on the same bill in such an intimate venue before at least one of them take off.

Casual Sex have been busy on the road with their recent UK headline tour whilst  Black Tambourines have on the NME website.

You’ll want to get the first pint in early so as not to miss the triumphant return of underground indie heroes The Pantomime Villains since their split last year. This is a band who know the ropes live since supporting the likes of Turin Brakes and Spector.

Get yourself down to Ramsgate Music Hall on 23rd February unless you want to live with the bitter regret of choosing practicality over partying!!

This Is For Lovers…

With Valentines day fast approaching, Way Out Music want to spread a little love and share this picture of Wolfman and Doherty together at the Pavilion in London. It may be cold and rainy in England this morning but at least we’re already half way through the week!

Heres to all you indie lovers out there…

GANG – Every Only Way

Gang’s grunge/psyche live sound is something that should not be missed. Check out this video and keep an eye out for an upcoming Way Out Music interview with the band 🙂

Upcoming Event... On Margate Sounds Presents GANG//WEAK NERVES//TWO BIT SISTER

On Margate Sounds makes a wild return with a night of filthy grime infested riffs and sweaty walled shenanigans.

FEATURING…

// GANG \\
Canterbury’s extraordinary league of me(n)tal-men make their return to Margate. Purveyors of bone crunching bass lines and soul shaking riffs and melodies, Gang are taking confident strides towards becoming one of the countries most exciting bands. For fans of Theo Verney and Black Sabbath.

// WEAK NERVES \\
Are fresh out of the oven but there’s no sign of them cooling down for a long time yet. The London based threesome make this lo-fi psych punk thing seem like a doddle with their reverb glazed vocals and fuzz fueled riffs that sound a bit like a burlier Gross Magic at times.

// TWO BIT SISTER \\
Margate rock duo, Two Bit Sister have been making waves crash against our shores since last summer and tend to get better with each gig.They’re rough, raw and ready blending the songwriting skills of Jack White with the youthful urgency of Howler and Bleeding Knees Club. It’s primal and is exactly what bored by the seaside sounds like.
