WILKO JOHNSON CANCELS 14 GIGS RECOVERING FROM OPERATION

Former Dr Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson has been forced to cancel 14 concerts whilst recovering from surgery to have “football-size tumour” removed. He defied predictions by doctors when he was given 10 months to live after his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in 2012 and has since released a new album with Roger Daltrey. He was scheduled to tour the album this year, making several festival appearances this summer, including Glastonbury.
