Old Souls

It’s Thursday evening, time to jump on the soul train and hold on for the weekend…

  1. Lets begin with the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin and ‘I Say A Little Prayer’.

2. Next up, a man who could sing the phone book and still make you cry. It’s Sam Cooke with ‘A Change is Gonna Come’.

3. The man who fought against racial oppression in America with vigour and encouraged black pride in pursuit of his dream to be free and free others through his singing. It’s James Brown with ‘It’s a Mans World’.

4. Arguable the most influential soul singer of all time, it’s Marvin Gaye with ‘Inner City Blues’.
