Foals will celebrate this year’s Record Store Day by issuing a limited edition 7” single to mark the festivities on April 16th. The double A-side release features the previously unreleased track ‘Rain’ which was recorded during session for their current album ‘What Went Down’, along with their interpretation of Mark Ronson’s ‘Daffodils’.

Foals have gone from strength-to-strength since the release of their fourth album ‘What Went Down’ last August. Following a wealth of critical acclaim and two scintillating secret sets at Reading and Leeds (NME picked Foals as their #1 Best Moment of the Reading Festival 2015), the album hit the charts at #3 during a month-long run in the Top 20.

Shortly after the release of album, Foals collected the Q Award for Best Act in the World Today. As 2015 drew to a close, they were then nominated for British Artist of the Year at the BBC Music Awards on an all-star shortlist that also featured Adele, Ed Sheeran, Jamie XX, Florence + The Machine and Years & Years.

The rush of nominations has continued into this year too, with four nominations at the recent NME Awards where they triumphed with the title of Best Album. In addition, they’re also in contention for their first ever BRIT Award for British Group.

Foals recently completed their biggest UK arena tour to date which included a gargantuan show at The SSE Arena Wembley. Their next shows on these shores will see Foals propelled into rock’s elite with the news that they set to headline the Reading and Leeds Festivals for the first time this summer.

In a career-defining development, Foals have been propelled into rock’s elite with the news that they’re set to headline the Reading and Leeds Festivals for the first time this summer. They will be co-headlining alongside Disclosure at the two festivals which take place over the bank holiday weekend of August 26th-28th.
