Straight outta Sweden, The Dahmers are a thrilling new garage rock band inspired by 60’s horror movies. Definitely for fans of PUP.

Lovely Records said of the band; “Take the primitive energy of punk and mix it with Thin Lizzy guitars that strike like lightning. Add melodies that will stay in your head like a leech to your eye and lyrics that would make Dario Argento and George Romeros work sound like bedtime stories. Now your starting to understand what The Dahmers are all about, an ambitious band that’s not afraid to throw all of their influences into the mix. Their début album, Demons, was released in July 2014 on the record label Farsot and is today as good as sold out. It was received well by the audience as well as by music journalists and The Dahmers have been hitting the Swedish roads hard since the release.

Today, almost a year later, it is time for a new 7” release – ‘Terror on wheels’. The songs were recorded during a couple of weeks in a dirty garage where every previous release was made as well. The foundation of the songs was recorded live and according to the band itself the songs has a more messy, garage-y live feeling to them compared to previous releases. The members of the band contributed with one song each, which added to the feeling that every song has its own sound or nature. This of course without losing the cohesive feeling that it’s one EP. With the dirty sound and sharp melodies that is The Dahmers, ‘Terror on Wheels’ invites you to a rock n roll rollercoaster where you will hear influences from bands like The Hives, Jay Reatard and The Ramones as well as MC5, Motörhead, Thin Lizzy and Status Quo. ‘Terror on wheels’ is released by Lövely records who are also re-releasing ‘Demons’.”
